Research:

Nucleic Acid (DNA and RNA) Metabolism. The primary research focus is on the regulation of gene expression in two enteric bacteria Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhimurium with emphasis placed on aspects of de novo
pyrimidine nucleotide biosynthesis and interconversions of pyrimidine nucleotides.
